I downloaded Fear Combat a couple of months ago. (the install froze and busted my comp, took me a week to get it repaired :/ )
It's a great game, too abd I only have a gig RAM. Btw, my clan plays a couple of games, one of them is Fear Multiplayer, though we also play things like BC, Legacy, RTCW: ET, Unreal Tournament and a few others.
If anyone wants to join me just give the word, we're always looking for new members.

Install busted your computer?! That must have been unfortunate, the install was pretty smooth for me...well as smooth as Windows Install allows anyway!

Hahah yeah, it froze up and wouldn't turn off, so I was forced to pull the plug. Which damaged a part of Windows, cost me 65 euros and a week of waiting to have it fixed.

I had no problems with it, BTW: I only had a gig of ram, and integrated graphics, double whammy, although it still played medium 1024x768 @ 30+ FPS.

Yeah, XP isn't that bad, they've taken out most of the bugs after all of these years. And now that they finally did, they release Vista and force it on everyone. ("blablabla is only compatible with Windows Vista") Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against Vista, but the way they're forcing it onto people is just wrong.
Then again, I suppose none of the computer industry corporations are superb. Something funny I found a while ago: WINDOWS : Will Install Needless Data On Whole System, APPLE : Arrogance Produces Profit-Losing Entity, IBM : I Blame Microsoft, MICROSOFT : Most Intelligent Customers Realize Our Software Only Fools Teenagers, MACINTOSH : Most Applications Crash; If Not, The Operating System Hangs.

I've never had an application crash or my OS 'hang' before. And I've had my Mac almost a year now. Nevertheless, they're clever and funny posts, I especially like the IBM one
