If anyone is interested in having their own free forums, there are a few sites that will allow you to do this. PHPBB3 - www.phpbb3now.com/Proboards - www.proboards.comInvision Plus - www.invisionplus.net/PHPNuke - phpnuke.org/I have found that proboards is the most user friendly but lacks a lot of common features. I would reccomend PHPBB or PHPNuke for feature-filled forums.

A good customized version of phpBB2 can be awesome for a small community (under 50,000 posts) once you get more then that you can think about switching to vBulletin.

If i had the money for vBulletin,the time, and the members, I would have that. But I am poor, so free forums it is.

With more members comes more dedication to the forum, perhaps then you can buy the vBulletin and .com domain

Yeah, I think I'll wait until at least 500 members, (If I can get there) Then get vBulletin and Possibly a server to keep at my house to host it on. That'll be the day.

That'll certainly be the day, that's more of a business than a small community forum! Nice idea though, wish I could create something like vBulletin
